The link below is a flow chart that illustrates PennDOT's project delivery process, including the procedures for obtaining Environmental Clearance for a project. Obtaining Environmental Clearance marks the end of the Preliminary Engineering phase and concludes with a Selected Alternative to be advanced into the Final Design and Construction phases of project development. Currently we are in Step 4 of the Environmental Clearance process – developing alternatives and quantifying impacts. |
